The first time someone close to you passes away can be very difficult. That’s how it was for Madison. Being a true family oriented person, Madison experienced such sadness when she lost her Grandfather; her father’s father. Rubber bracelets were given out at the funeral in his memory, but Madison’s unfortunately broke.
So that she would always have Grandpa Gary with her she got this tattoo; an ankle bracelet written in SOS that means “Forever in my heart”. The sparrow represents joy and protection, which makes her feel as though her grandfather is always watching over her.
